The Project F-M began as an idea in a church basement in 2008. Over the years, it’s had generous partners from individuals, local congregations, the Eastern North Dakota Synod of the ELCA, the Northwest Minnesota Synod of the ELCA, and the national office of the ELCA. Here’s the super-quick story:
- early 2008, a core group of ministry professionals gathered to imagine a new young adult
ministry - 2009, the team received key gifts/grants from individuals, congregations, synods, and the church-wide office of the ELCA
- June 2009, called a full-time Community Organizer (Karis Thompson)
- April 2011, called a full-time Mission Developer (Pastor Adam
Copeland)
